Join the Drill Team
Golden Sunset has had a continuously operating Drill Team for 7 years. Not only do we practice new routines but perform on a regular basis at area events and even go a few states away! We have a good time and show off our expert horsemanship skills under the guidance of Casey Meyers.
In order for Drill Team to function properly, we do require participants commit to 80% of the practices. Outside events and demonstrations are not required.
Between the months of September and April Drill Team meets once a month. Drill Team always performs for Golden Sunset’s Annual Christmas Party!
Between the months of May and August, Drill Team practices once a week. We practice with up to 24 people and perform with anywhere from 18-22 people. We accept all ages but require at least intermediate skill levels.
